Should the appointment be for a medical reason and not a routine vaccination and checkup, we may also request the following depending on your pet's symptoms:
A urine sample
A fecal sample
In order to give you the answers you are looking for, we may need to run diagnostics tests such as blood tests or Xrays. These can be done at the time of your visit or on the same day.
For this reason, we recommend that you do not feed your pet before their appointment (ideally, no food 12 hours prior to the appointment time - it's okay to give water)
If we have not seen your pet before we ideally would like a copy of their medical history from your previous vets. This ensures continuity of care for your pet.
